Ecutek upgrade dynamic automated map retune?

I updated my Ecutek RaceROM software with the Ecutek dongle via Bluetooth last week. It appears that it upgraded the maps automatically and renamed them. This included a 700ps map, which is excellent. I did not know that this was possible, unless a tuner mapped it with ProECU? I believe my GT-R (December 2014) has an element of dynamic mapping based on fuel and knock as standard; whilst Ecutek takes it further? So I was surprised and delighted that the 700ps map appeared. My GT-R is stage 4.25 with a Linney Flex Fuel Kit and AEM WMI - perhaps the testing with 50/50 water meth has altered the maps? I am probably completely wrong but any comments and education would be welcome.

Which update did you apply?

Just a firmware update to teh ProECU software on your PC and BT dongle?

Or updated maps from your tuner (for instance when going from one version of Ecutek to a newer one?)

Just a firmware update over wi-fi using the BT dongle, which is why I was so surprised. The car feels a lot more lively since the water-methanol was installed and tested. It is also making more noise from the GFB Mach 2 BOV's.
