Thumbs up Big THANK YOU to all who organised, supported and took part in the Classic today

Just got back home after a great event today at Silverstone Classic - still buzzing and flicking through photos of all the great cars on show - and there were loads!

My first event like this and I really enjoyed it. Thank you to the organisers and everyone who made me feel so welcome and the good chats about all things Skyline/GT-R.

Very well organised and I reckon we had one of the biggest stands in terms of turnout/cars - and a good location to boot.

Thanks must go to Nissan too for providing the hospitality, hot drinks and a place to escape the rain when needed. The 2020 Nismo and GTR-50 were a brilliant touch and attracted lots of attention. I think the latter definitely looks better in the flesh - lots of little design cues that are hard to see in photos.

The parade lap was brilliant, really enjoyed it. Hope others did too Note to self, must get a louder exhaust! lol

Cheers
Shaun

Second all of that, myself and my ten year old son had a great day. Parade lap was fun if a bit wet....and the GTR50 actually really does look great in the flesh.

First event with GTROC/GTRDC, everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Was nice to chat to a few members, I appreciate the very kind words about my build.

I'll get my photos uploaded in the other topic this evening

Huge thanks to all who attended, it was a great event and our 40 odd car parade lap will live long in the memory. Having the GTR 50 on the stand and on the PL was a master stroke.

Yes, thanks to everyone who came and supported the GTRDC, and I hope everyone enjoyed it ( despite the iffy weather. )

Special thanks also to Bob Laishley ( Program Director at Nissan ) and Andrea Porta ( lead designer at Italdesign ) for supporting us on the stand for pretty much the whole weekend. I really hope some of you had a chance to chat with them because both are really nice guys and passionate about their respective charges. We feel honoured that such senior figures gave their time helping out little old us.

I couldn’t make it but really really pleased there was such a good turn out. These things take so much more to organise than people probably realise, well done all involved ***x1f44d;***x1f44d;
