Middlehurst have got some virgin Nismo Club Sport ECMís on eBay for £180 too.
You just connect it up, connect the battery with the keyfob in the slot under the steering wheel, turn the ignition on (no start), wait several seconds for it to marry itself to the BCM, ignition off, and away we go. Iím going to have to buy some Nismo badges at this rate

Other than having the Nismo rom on them what would be the advantage of fitting in of these to mine given I’d be flashing my ecutek tune into it?

I get the tcm upgrade given the memory is bigger at 1.5mb so I could flash the newer years’ larger files.

You get some Nismo warning stickers

You’re right of course. No benefit in outright performance, but my ECM is considerably prettier than yours

Currently, I have two spare ECM’s and a spare TCM. I’m crazy aren’t I ?

The car was registered in 2015, but looking up the VIN, it was a MY16 car.
So it's the v2 of the 1.5mb boards I think.
It has an EcuTek license on it, but standard calibration flashed.
It also has 7 launches on the counter. No matter. It wasn't me guv!

The drive to work this morning was buttery smooth

I'll be keeping the original. It's a MY10 anyway. You need MY15/16

Ah my bad. Took that as meaning you'd stocked up on a coupla bigger memory ones. Wishful thinking!

It wonít be long before another one surfaces. People thinking the hype is true, and writing themselves off in the process. Anyone can drive a 560bhp+ reptilian monster

Iíll keep my ears peeled

Be good if there was an upgrade for the early gearbox controller memory to increase the map size that could be loaded, in line with the later year cars

The chip has approximately 1 million legs on it. I donít fancy reflowing that, even if the chips are pin compatible
