R32 GTS4 coil pack getting too hot

Hi, I have a r32 gts4 and recently I changed my coilpacks to R35 setup but, the cyl 6 is getting too hot and melts.

I use NGK BKR6EIX spark plugs and R35 coils without igniter.

I have an upgraded wastegate that I will replace with a stock one to drive for a while.

Have you adjusted the dwell times for the R35 coil packs? I've read they can get hot without adjustment, but not heard of them melting! Are they genuine or copies?

I'm not sure you can on a stock ECU? I haven't had mine adjusted yet either, but I'm using an Apexi PFC - I'll have them done when the car is mapped.

Shouldn’t be an issue. Stock ecu and r35 coils won’t melt. Which harness are you using?

rb20det harnass***12288;for R32 coils with igniter from wiring specialist with wiring pin 1 and 3 reversed.

with bypass of the igniter

First 1-2min will run on all cylinders than cylinder 6 is misfiring.

Found the problem, harnass issue, shorting out on several places.
