Going abroad and storing car

Will be away for over a year and putting car into professional managed storage environment. On charge, climate controlled and periodically brought up to temps and rolled for flat spots. Anyone think its detrimental to car not to drive it for such a long period?

Should be fine if done properly. I do it with mine. I always ensure windows are down slightly too on my cars to avoid musty interior (if car covered and/or in an air chamber/perma bag storage) - definitely a good idea on a GT-R due to battery/door locking, so as not to have any difficulties should battery lose charge unexpectedly.

Ashes to ashes. Dust to dust. If you donít take it out and use it, itís going to rust.

You can lend it to me. Iíll try and breed it with mine
Oh the patter of tiny turbos.

Mines been in storage for around 7 months...what i can remember of the top of my head:

Full tank of fuel + a special additive for long term storage (can't remember name but got from opie oils)

Steel mesh cotton for exhausts

Silica packs in footwells / boot / behind seats on floor

Leave windows open a tad

Wipers up

Ideally put on axle stands, though i just drove it onto some old axminister carpet pieces i cut

A few mouse traps on each corner

Cotton sheets to cover the car

And get yourself a CTEK MXS5.0 trickle charger

I think that was pretty much it...
