My 1995 R33 GTR

New to this forum having picked up an R33 GTR from The GTR Heritage Centre a couple of weeks ago. Great service from them and can't recommend them highly enough.

Have wanted an R33 GTR for years and timings worked out right to get one.

A few of you may recognise it as it's had two owners in the North East since importing.

I've got a few things planned for it, but in general I want to keep it fairly standard; we'll see how long that plan lasts for.

Wheels are first on the list having picked up some OEM R33 wheels.

(sorry, can't work out how to rotate the image)

The Desmonds will probably be for sale shortly

Off the top of my head 17 x9j ET18.

I need to check when I manage to get them off.

Look nice on 32's, but on my 33 they look a bit lost in my opinion.

cheers
Chris

Nice mate. I think the standard 33 wheels will look well on it.

First refusal goes to you TJB.
Will need to get them off the car first; damn stuck locking wheel nuts.
It's due its MOT in Jan and the tyres on the R33 wheels don't have a lot of tread left on the rears, so may not be for a while.

Will keep you updated.

Im sure the money gone on selling the wheels will pay for some decent tyres for the stock wheels.
Make sure you put some pics of it with the standard wheels up on here. I do like a white 33 with stock wheels.

No, that's the original Ad. They mustn't have taken it down yet.

Managed to get the new wheels fitted. Bit of pain to do with the car being so low, but looks much better now in my opinion.

And then took it for a spin. Actually drives much more comfortably now.

But it'll need a wash before being tucked up again.

Looks really good mate. Nice one!
I’ve got a couple of bits of wood I use to drive onto before jacking car. Makes life so much easier.
