changing pistons only

I have an RB25, recently rebuilt but with standard oversized pistons.

can I just change them for forged ones or will there be anything else I need to do?

for example I seem to recal that forged ones need a little more clearance in the bore than cast so will it need additional boring out?

any advice greatly apreciated.

Probably just a hone out of the bores and then fit the pistons.

It will depend on what Pistons you are going to use.

so which do you recomend?

I'm looking for 8.5 compression ratio, will be changing the HG which is a 1.8mm steel one IIRC, intend to do some mild porting/polishing of the head and changing the cams -probably for tomei poncams.
