Yes it was a bit of a shock, it was mostly in the corners where there is little to no protection from the factory, having been in the UK for over a decade now I'm glad it wasn't worse! Inside the driver side chassis opening was actually a greasy dirt build up! Cleaning that away revealed little to no rust at all, the passenger side was worse as it had little covering of anything. I do wonder if the hole in the passenger wheel arch liner (for the oil cooler) has made it worse. Just had my new lambda sensors arrive so I can get on with those and the rear turbo install, at last!
