Audi A6 Avant

Anyone know any decent tuning companies that deal with the A6 wagon? ABT and MTM aside. Specifically looking for ECU upgrades for the V6 3L TDi

Also would be really great if people could post up pix of A6s with different 19" wheel combos

Cheers

I know that Oettinger has a great experience in the VAG engines, and I would trust them in tuning your VAG, though its a bit expensive.
Take your time to read about the DPT program and its features.

Besides all that, going from 225hp (450Nm) to 272hp (550Nm) should be enough.

Btw. The BBS Le Mans is always a winner!

Those BBS's are brilliant designs and go with so many cars.
Whatever you chose, i'll be looking for the same Dino, I'm about to buy a 3.0 Tourag.

Dino - try MTM Tuning Conversions by QSTuning my director used them for his 550hp old RS4 avant - they know their stuff. Main man there is Kim Collins. If you need any reference names, pm me .

LADY drivers. Draw a little diagram on a Post-it showing the position of the hand brake and gearstick, and stick it to your dashboard. This will save you having to look for them when the lights go green.

The problem with the Diesel chip tuning is that it brings not what you might look for. I bought a Diesel in 2004, was looking for a 2.0 TDI Golf or A3, finally took an Nissan Almera diesel (most powerfull), drove the Apt, Oettinger versions of the A3 and Golf . . .not bad but didn't feel like 180HP and 400NM

I had a chip too on the Almera and claimed a 165HP, the car was faster then the germans chiptuned . . .finally I was tiered of having black clouds coming out from my exhaust, so I decided to do a proper remapping of the ECU. The remapping needed one day. The result was a refreshing 190HP 410NM and a clean dyno curve, that wasn't linear at all.(measured a 7.5 sec 0-100kph)
I think the chips are not bad, but a brutal way to force more power, every engine is diffrent(especially the german) and a mapping has to made in a charctaristic way for each engine to have smooth and powerfull curves. Also the Abt and Co are not doing the job because they give you a warranty, as the bolt on chip heats the engine more, they just give a small dirty peak of more power, on a trembling power curve . . .
Bolt On Chip: much heat-medium power
Remapping: normal heat- maximum power

There is also these german wheel (Cant remember the name right now) wich will stand a lot of stress, even your mom can hit the sidewalk and they still look good - no deep scratches or anything.
On their website they try to destroy the wheels by making burnout without tires on, driving over the curb on purpose, smashing it with a big iron tube and such

I will post link and pictures ASAP.

Haha, not really

These where a little wider :P

Well, back to the serious part:
Also Carline has made some nice fancy wheels.
CarLine Tuning GmbH
Have a look at the NW5, NW8 and CM7.
The NW5 and NW8 is delivered in sizes up to 13x20"
The CM7 is delivered in sizes up to 13x18"
Going wide?

Here they are, the Schmidt wheels with Radinox technology.

Felge.de - Radinox

Now go entertain yourself with the videos

I bet the VN-Line would look good on that Audi!

For example this VN-Line:
Felge.de - Datenbankabfrage

VAG TDI Tuning allways produces good results
Have a look at the results for the W10 TDI with the Superchips chip
