Knocking noise.

When driving over very bumpy ground at low speeds 10-25mph I get the occasional knocking noise from the left rear wheel. Any thoughts on what this could be? Does a bush need replacing?

Hi
Could the noise be your exhaust , loose or broken mounting , and knocking against the floor or a suspension component ?

Chaz,
Reading your other threads and this one, I think you want to take Keiths advice and go see Rod Bell.

He's not far from you and he will diagnose your problems acurately and quickly.

Any work on the car is to ber carried out under warrenty. However a "list" of stuff that needs doing might be an idea.

I'd put money on that being your exhaust. Push the tailpipe left with your foot, fairly hard. Recognise the sound?

I was kinda hoping that is would be the zorst. I've just spent ages making a bracket for my other half's car (Suzuki Alto Works 660ccTurbo) to stop her's knocking on the underside of the car.
It's a similar noise-just on a smaller scale.

My exhaust started doing it when I got the Super Drager fitted. And now I have front pipes too, it's even worse.
