Only the R32/33 used the oil filled pendulum type.
All accelerometers have a physical moving part and the initial measurement is analogue.

Brake until just before the apex. Nail it and it will oversteer is bit. Keep it nailed are drive out of the corner. The wetter the surface the less beans you can apply.

Having looked at various 'Fast response' sensors, the rate of thermal change is shocking slow compared to a thermocouple. And they measure theres in a liquid not a gas.
