On my 8th lap, with my stock water temp gauge at halfway, I thought everything was ok.
I did a cool down lap and parked my car with a 30 second turbo timer cool down. Then after the car had its engine off, after around 5 mins, I hear a gush a water coming down. The by-pass hose gave way again!
I have an aftermarket radiator and oil cooler.
My top and lower radiator hoses are samco. I am trying to source a samco by-pass hose.
A friend suggested having a aluminum or stainless steel fabricated, to be mounted on cut by-pass hose ends.
Another question, is the stock water temp gauge just like the oil pressure gauge, meaning its way off? After I installed a aftermarket oil pressure gauge, I realized the stock one's were way off.
