Hi Guys.

Heres the new motor.

Well it's not exactly new but you know what i mean

I've decided on BRONZE wheels. BUT.............

All the ones I like aren't available in the sizes I need.

Some ideas and hopefully pics on cars would be tremendous.

And some ideas on offset and tyres sizes with zero rubbage.

I reckon you paint just the spokes on the wheels on already in Grey or Black & leave the outer lip polished... I have Bronze on my Grey R32, dont think hey would suit a Black 32... I will see if can find a pic.

Cost doesn't matter massively as long as they look right.

Even with the ones mentioned so far I'm struggling to find them

1/ In bronze
2/ In a 18 x 9.5 114.3 fitment

I'll show you some i kinda like atm

Tenzo R Type M
Only available in an 8" size

Advan RS.
Not available in bronze

I think I like that multi spoke look be it sunken or on show.! Chunky is best!

If colour is that much of an issue then get them professionally refurbed in the exact colour you want.

When I was looking I liked these Uras wheels but I think they're discontinued now - or so Newera's site says:

For a top notch Jap alloy will will be paying around £1800-2000 just for the alloys, thats about a 3rd of what the car is worth!!!! LOL

The Wedsport alloys come in the sizes and colours needed and they are always priced good, around £1000. Have a look on the Newera website, they always have offers on alloys.

Choices in the UK are realy down to 2, Ultralite and Rota.

Ultralite Wheels

6 great reasons to buy Rota wheels from RotaShop.co.uk – The UKs leading online Rota Wheels web store

You will get the colour and size you need no probs, you wont wait ages for delivery either and you will save a good £1000.

Other than that I will have a set of 18x9 Enkei split rims for sale later this month. I will sort out a deal with you if your interested?

................and i just happen to have a set of gunmetal Advan RS's lying about in my hallway.. ;)

but in all honesty,
I think the Advans look pish on a dark colored car (i think they 18" versions would look really foolish since they design of the Advan RS makes them look bigger than they are.) , and personally I dont even think the design of them suits the R32, unlike the dished designs of the CE28N, or XD9 multispokes... however the RS's do look the dogs danglies on a R34.

this is what they used to look like when they were on my car (just photoshopped my car black to give you a better idea)

bronze is your friend :p
