Just what Ive read. The jornos seem to think it will be a automatic transmission with a torque converter, rather than a dual clutch transmission.

I could be wrong , but it would seem they are going for the luxury saloon market, which would be at odds if fitted with a dual clutch gearbox, so I would agree with the jornos.
Ah right am with you. What I heard was seven speed and perhaps assumed Dual Clutch - that would make more sense for economy over a slushmatic would it not though?

We shall wait and see.

Weight and smoothness are a factors. I suppose it depends on what market they are going for. I can see it being a auto, but that's not to say it'll be bad. The auto box on the F-Type was quite nice when the car worked
