After changing the inlet manifold gaskets, my R32 GTR wouldnt start.

There was no power to the coil packs, everything has been plugged back in and this is baffling me.

So, to get the car running, we ran a live from the battery to the fat white wire on the three pin block that supplies power to the coils.

Car starts now, but two lights have come on, 4WD light and the red warning light below it.

We've checked all the fuses under the dash, and under the bonnet, all are intact.

Are there any fuses anywhere else?

Does anything need resetting?

There must be an explanation for this, its proper doing my head in..

had a similar problem but all other electronics were fine - car started and everything. Went under the hood and gave the 4WD fuse a frustrated wiggle. No problems since :p

when you checked the fuses, was it just visual, or did you go in with a multimeter? I definitely recommend the latter.
