an "led" telly is an LCD panel with an LED backlight instead of a fluorescent one

its an extremely clever marketing scam and nothing to do with "new" OLED technology or LED pixels

just an idea, but had you thought about getting a good projector instead? some good deals on eBay at the mo if you know what you're looking for. Just upgraded from a 42" LCD TV to a projector system and it's AWESOME lol
