I'm looking at either getting the 700cc top feed low impedance Sard or Power Enterprise.

I'd rather not have to buy an uprated fuel rail. Does either one require one?

With that in mind any suggestions on either brand or none of the above?

Aye, just to back that up, my car is running 700cc injectors in a standard fuel rail :)

Dont think I'll ever get them out again though :clap:

im running power enterprise 800cc injectors on standard fuel rail.
i was advised by rising sun performance not to get sard injectors as they are $hit and a nightmare for mapping. pretty sure the sard ones are the cheapest, i think i paid £400 for my pe injectors from nengun.

running sard on mine as recommended by my mapper, and he had no probs with them.

got the 700cc sard havent had a single problem with em mapping idleing or anything else. good investment

How about SARD injectors on HKS Fuel Rail?

(SARD injectors made by Denso, Denso also making HKS Injectors - but heard HKS injectors are shorter (or was that longer?).)

Which of the HKS Fuel Rails would work best with 700cc Sard injectors?

Ended up buying 720 Greddy/Denso injectors. I'll post the outcome of the install when I get them.

How necessary is an uprated fuel pressure regulator?

I'm doing 2530s + cams + bolt ons + fuel system + tuning.

How much did you get the Greddy 720 Injectors up for Legal?

Sard Racing Regulator would work well. Get a fuel pressure gauge hooked up too.

Decent price there man.

Can anyone comment on compatability of SARD Injectors and HKS Fuel Rail?

I have read 10.5mm HKS Rail will work with stock sized injectors....and that SARD Injectors will work with stock fuel rail...

So will there be any fitment issues?

Anyways, is there any particular benefit for getting an aftermarket fuel rail, especially if your uprated injectors can squeeze into the stock unit? Fuel pump I can see, the fuel pressure regulator possibly (and in question as above), but the rail? And what's the point with fuel swirl pots (while I'm at it asking zillions of questions)? Do they mount under the hood or in the trunk?

The stock fuel pressure regulator is rising rate, but its not adjustable.


The reason for going for an aftermarket rail is because its pretty, and people like pretty things. Some are shiny. People like shiny things.


As far as the Sard injectors go - when you show your mapper that they are the same part numbers as any other brand, how will he be able to extract them from his a$$?

so in a nutshell, for pure function over form, the only other things required are an upgraded adjustable (Nismo or other) FPR, fuel pump and bigger injectors crammed into the stock fuel rail. Can you then call the fuel system good and done?
