Dear All,

After nearly 14 months of waiting and great learnings and support from this forum, I was knocked off my chair at work to learn my car had arrived at Mill Hill, London.

The system continued to show 2 Dec as a delivery date and it seems to have arrived early but may be a sign that the Nissan Tracking system is improving.

Whilst I wait for the Tracker, Rear Parking Sensors, and other admin to be sorted, I'm not sure what I'm feeling - its not elation...maybe after waiting for so long, its a bit of a shock that the car will be physically on my driveway in about 1 weeks time....

I've been dealing with a new GTR Specialist at Mill Hill, Stuart Griffith, who has been extremely helpful and supportive.

As I've noted from other owners, the count down to collection is going to be very very painful.....

Thanks to everyone again for answering all my queries during the last 14 months - this is a great forum full of great people, enjoying a truly wonderful super car.

Well worth the wait

Prash,

I know how you feel. I stopped myself getting too excited after such a long wait and put it out of my mind right up until parking up at my HPC and walking through the door to be greeted by a beauty of a GT-R on display.

Then I let myself smile and I haven't stopped smilling since...

Haa, my first familiarisation drive with my GT-R specialist was soooo gentle, to think how I spank her now! And she loves it !!! :p

Enjoy...

Just under 800 for me, 300 on the day of collection! :runaway:

Starting to use 5.5 to 6k revs now - frighteningly quick and thats with a progressive right foot.

Drop me a PM once you have the optimisation and what settings you had changed.

Cheers

Checked out car today - paint blemish on boot

Had a look at the car today - again, Stuart at Mill Hill was open and honest and showed me a minor paint blemish on the boot - I didn't spot it when I inspected it but he did......looks like extra laquer about the size of 2 x 10p pieces - needless to say, Stuart assured me it would be "sorted" before collection.

Car looked awesome - even without being prepped....can't wait !!
