I am pretty sure that my AFM's both read about 5.00volts when on max boost, but my car has a Power FC and has been mapped to 1.2 bar. Standard AFM's have a max voltage of about 5.00 volts i think, could be wrong!

Don't know if this helps

Idle voltage should abe around 1volt.

I would move the wiring to see if it's a wiring problem round the connector rather than the AFM

Sorry, should have mentioned, this is when idle, luckily I have a replacement as yes the engine did not run too well. just wondered if these can be fixed as they arent cheap. I could think of alot more thing Id rather spend £600-£700 on than replacing the AFM's with new ones. ie: my new clutch as mention in another thread :)

why not replace them with nismo ones? Around £300 a pair from OOparts or Japanparts. There is a thread with the web addresses in the Tuning section...here
