hi guys,

i have followed procedure to replace my coolant in my gtr & have removed the 'air drain plug' which sits on the front of the engine, just under the injector boom.

when i remove the bolt entirely there is no sign of air or coolant bleeding through...could it be blocked in some way?

i let the engine get to full temp on idle & followed my workshop manual.

regards

Bit of wire Marko...poke it in to unblock it.

Old Australian proverb says "If it can't be repaired with a tube of silastic, a hammer or a bit of fencing wire, its definately broken and cannot possibly be fixed"

i'll try that paul - thanks mate!
is the hole at the end of the thread or does it run along the actual thread itself, i.e. do i push it in straight?

seeing that we are on the education path, i guess you've heard the good old saying "its like pushing bubblegum via a keyhole"
