All aircon systems have the low pressure cut out switch. Get it regassed and it will work. To temporarily prove this you can bypass the pressure switch with a link wire.
I would check that electrically that the compressor is being drawn in. If it is then the Coil in the compressor has failed. If it isn't 1st bridge out the pressure switch then start to investigate the climate control.
