PEOPLE!!! PEOPLE!

This thread started life as interesting kills ;-)

Now we are on about dagenham dustbins and bikes.
Er has anyone killed a cossie or bike lately??
If so please post.

Easy on the chat eh, as when a mail alert comes through I think ooohhh someone else has been out there having fun....

Oi ratcliffe...you started this and you supposed to be a moderator!! LOL ;-0

No good kills this weekend though on the way to and fro Cornwall. Too much traffic Just the usual Celica (non turbo), BMW 318is coupe drivers (all of which have 400 plus BHP...NOT) sitting on the GTRs backside on a way too busy M5.....

yeah I'll have him they say..you can see it in their eyes in the mirror...lets see what all the fuss is about...whatever.com.

Mind you I did give celeica man a huge dose of flame whilst backing down in slow traffic... which he backed off at!!

;)

Ass spanked by a cossie

James

The cossie in question was a white G plate, well lowered with wheels too big for the arches and an exhaust that stuck out well beyond the rear bumper. I met him on the A505 in the north Essex / south Cambs area. He looked like he was just cruising looking for a burn as he turned round and went back the way he came after our run so he may have been local to the area.

By the way, my mates got a Fireblade and he wants me to have a go (after I took him out in the GTR!). I've never driven a bike other than a couple of Lambrettas and Vespas I had in my mis-spent youth but they probably bear about as much relation to a Fireblade as a 1.1 Metro does to a GTR. Any tips???

Don't see many Cossies round my way, but last year I got a blue whale tale Escort Cossie going down a clear slip road from the A217 onto the M25 (Anti clockwise).

He saw me coming up behind him and floored it, nice puff of the black stuff out the back :)

I dropped a couple of cogs and opened it up, think he was a little supprised how quickly I came flying past, after which he gave up :(

Most cars don't bother with bikes, but its fun when they do :D

Had a bit of fun with a GSXR (600 I think) in Manchester the other day. He was behind me and picking off cars for fun, he then started riding behind me, obvioulsly waiting for me to go. I floored it and managed to keep in front of him for a little while, but slowed down once the BLUE i started Gatso alerting me. He went whizzing past me, but I managed to flash him to warn him about the camera. He game me a thumbs up and floored it, and managed to stay well ahead of me before turning off.

Even a 600 GSXR does 0-100 in about 7 or 8 seconds, so I can't see any good sports bike rider losing out to a Skyline, unless:
the Skyline is pretty highly modded, or
or if the biker is not very experienced, or
its very twisty or wet.

Interesting to see what the other bikers think?

one a 600, the other the 750...
out in the country around thame, go to end of village they see me are behind me, get to 60 zone and I nail it...
Them heads on tanks, coming after me, not getting anywhere fast, 750 goes past the 600 to have a try....still not any closer.
get to next village , slow down...they come alongside...big thumbs up and pointing at engine bay.

top boys and looked as if there was a local meet on...all talk about those bloddy skylines again...what are they and what have they under the bonnet!!

I guess im too slow/old/scared.......delete as appropriate!!

Im sorry I dont have any interesting kills to report !! Until Miguel hooks me up with my tuned r33 I doubt I will have any......although I got bored at the weekend and bought an RS Turbo which is being prepped at the moment - convo to tuner "get as high a boost and power as you can so it lasts a couple of months before it explodes, then I'll sell it to a maxpower reader!!" lol

As a biker I should badger on about killing anything with four wheels.......but it isnt realy a fair comparison, to date the only cars to have beaten my group of riders have been a mitsi evo and a skyline, and I didnt witness either of these events.

However that being said, ronnies times are faster than my bike....0-60 in 3 secs, 0-100 6 secs and the standing 1/4 in less than 11 secs at 140+ are as quick/quicker than any roadbike i know of, including zx12's.

As for tips on riding a blade Dan. if you have no experience of this kind of bike you WILL come off at anything more than 1/10th of its potential. Just be careful mate, and if you have to go fast take it to a track.

Good luck booty

James..............

The last interesting spat I had was with a guy in a 350 BHP (At the stickers) RX7. Wasn't up to much, as I was past and long gone by half way through third! There's a guy who floats around these parts in a "400 BHP" Escort Cossie (Funny how they all have that!) who is apparently making noises he's going to blow me away... Sounds like all smoke and stickers to me. I'll keep you all informed.

Needless to say, as we stand, Skylines still rule the central belt up here...

umm - very interesting

Well well - lots of expensive 4-Wheeled Jap Machinery almost as quick as some extremely cheap 2-Wheeled Jap Machinery - amazing stuff.
PMJ's £20k odd Skyline with Carls £2800 '97 RRT Blade up his chuff coming off the power ( couldn't get past - believe he was most irritated to be held up! ;-) on the M4 the other day springs to mind!!!!
Depends what you're into I guess but does make me giggle when people forget the old power to weight thing and get wasted by something that costs the price of a set of alloys!!!!
I'm yet to be "wasted" but as I've said I look forward to the day my 2000 Blade is passed by anything with more than 2 wheels!!! I'll be more amazed ( in fact I'll strip and take it dry ) if it can be done by any of you with a car costing under 20k!!!! Till then lads/laydees I think you should rely on wet roads with tight bends together with a healthy portion of exagerration for your bike kills!!!

:smokin:

I'll happily be proved wrong I hasten to add!!!!!
As a couple of you have said - best to have both if you can afford it - still prefer a Mitsi myself ;-)

You got me there

Have to admit to coming off it in March!!!!

What can I say - I like showing off!!!

Hoiked one up ( thats a wheelie for those that don't know ) in front of a Bus Stop outside the College Arms on Saturday and nearly sent myself off the back ( I blame the new front sprocket - nasty in first! ) but managed to land her near the kerb and stay on - so nearly wasn't actually ( and actually hurts- I have the scars to prove! )

You're too honest

You're supposed to lie/exaggerate and come out with something like:

"I thought Bikes were quick but I hit fourth - floored it and watched him disappear in my rear view" or similar!

That was a funny night - shovel man was the best though!
"I'll do you all - I don't care - I'll chain the road off" yeah course you will mate!
