Very pleased with the whole buying and 1200 mile service from Ancaster.

Daniel the HPC salesman was very knowledgeable about the GTR, and let me have 2 demos in their car, one in the wet, one in the dry.
Everything was done as I had requested to my new car, including the private plate fitment, and car was valeted to perfection.

Have just collected the car, following the 1200 optimisation service. Again the GTR technician, Richard, had a lengthy conversation with me, prior to starting on the car. Everything was explained to me in detail, and I decided to opt for the track setup, as I am going to the Ring this weekend. When I collected the car, he went through all the adjustments to the geometry setup. And explained about the gearbox and engine optimisation.
Richard also had full knowledge of the latest updates, regarding the new gearbox temp ceiling levels and the oil change requirement.

Can recommend this HPC!

Cheers
Rob

Hi Kurgen. I'm glad you posted this as I'm very near Bromley. I bought my car from Motorline in Tunbridge Wells, but I might well use Bromley for servicing as it will be a great deal more convenient for me.

They were not a HPC when I ordered 18 months ago. It's reassuring to know they take an interest in the car judging by their knowledge.

When is yours due? Ordered mine from Motorline too but Bromley would be a whole lot easier. Any contact numbers chaps? Not on the GTR site as a dealer yet.

just to say,i popped into HPC Ancasters Bromley today and was informed by Dan (gtr specialist) that they will be selling the V spec and Dan as we speak is preparing to go to germany to be trained by Nissan on all things V spec so if any one wants a V spec you know where to go.
Glad i found Ancasters Bromley,i originally ordered with motorline tun' wells but their service and communication was so bad that i cancelled and did not intend re ordering until i walked into Ancasters and spoke with Dan.

I was there today also. Richard the GT-R master technician was looking at a couple of issues for me and his attention to detail is fantastic. I took it in for a big interior rattle and rear tyre pressure problems. They lent me a 370Z whilst the car was worked on for Monday and today, and Richard found a couple of other minor issues and corrected them.

I went to pick up the car today, he had re-aligned the clutches, came out on a road test with me to ensure I was happy, fixed the rear tyre leaks (faulty valves), fixed the interior rattle and another undertray rattle he found during his routine checks, and on top of that, the car was fully vacuumed and washed. We spent about half an hour talking about the car etc. and how best to run them in. Nothing was too much trouble for him.

I honestly have never experienced such high levels of service from a main dealer. 10/10 and as a result they will be getting my business for servicing. Richard is an asset to the company, and on top, a very nice chap.

How long have they been an HPC ?

Nissan really need to sort their act out, the Nissan GT-R site makes no mention of it, but can see that the Plaistow Lane site is an HPC from the Nissan site, any potential problems going to a different dealer do any of you imagine?

Also has anyone established how accommodating Ancaster are to potential upgrades etc as have been considering the Y pipe.

Bromley would make a lot of sense for me living in Beckenham and would save the trawl down to Motorline and their patronising comments...

Hi.

I don't think they'll source or fit a pipe but no probs with regard to in being on. They are selling the Spec V so the GTR mechanics have been on the additional Nissan training courses. All very friendly and professional when i popped in to have a look around.

Had my optimisation done at Ancaster Bromley today and all in all very impressed by their technical knowledge and customer service.

A 370z courtesy car (slow by comparison) for the day and spent time with me both pre and post the service. Full valet offered for my car if I'd wanted it. Three settings offered for the tracking, Street/Town, fast road or track. Gave me all the technical printouts to keep. Had a minor passenger seat rattle that they couldn't isolate but they have offered me the 370z for as long as it takes to fix if I want to let them pull the seat to bits!

They reckon they've had Spec V orders so there must be people with too much money in the Bromley area!

Can recommend them.

Now I'm all done what settings do leave the suspension & transmission on?!

Would have been nice to have been given a choice re tracking at Motorline....more justification for not going there again!

Spec V purchasers are probably not from Bromley, I have never seen another GTR in the area to be honest......they are probably not previous GTR owners either, more likely to be people with more money than sense and order the Spec-V cos its marginally better than a standard GTR and is the latest must have accessory, they'll probably not hold onto it long either!
