Glad you got your money back, but I hear you though its annoying when a scammer still get to keep money they've scammed out of people, happens on ebay all the time where there blanket excuse is we didn't see the item, then end up refunding you and the seller in an escalated case, pathetic it just gives them more fuel to carry on, and then ebay say we will keep an eye on their activity, so many horror case you read about online...

Yes my bank refunded me after I threatened them with the ombudsman. Whole thing was ridiculous. I'm still a bit worried they might come back at some future date....we'll see. Meantime I will be doing all I can to make the scammer pay.
