I'm going to view it on Wednesday with a good chance of buying it.

I've done some digging on here and found a couple of threads relating to it however the paper trail ends when cossie sold it back in 2006

http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/59681-385bhp-stage-1-r33-gtr.html

Current owner has had it stored for 5 years, he took it in with blown turbos and has fully rebuilt the engine fitting r34 n1 turbos.

Slight discrepancy with the mileage though..... He sent me a picture of the bimta certificate showing 71000km when imported. however on one of the above threads it shows in the 60's?? Could the clocks have been changed? Or made to show all miles?

Anyway any advice/comments are more than welcome :)

I looked at this car history as well as I am on a hunt as well. When car was imported it had 49k on the clock - then it seems each owner made own interpretation.....being honest it is so easy to check if the car is high mileage by looking on basics - pedals, steering wheel etc.

On the other hand it seems a lot of money and effort went into the car since then, make few phone calls, including the ones claimed in the advert - inspect the car in one of the trusted garages.

If the car will be still for sale in two weeks time I might be interested. - currently on holidays abroad - although I am more after stock-ish car.

Sorry for stealing the thread - anyone knows anything about ultra low mileage silver gtr r33 18k on the clock from pistonheads for 9995?

I am sure I have seen this car for sale couple of weeks ago.....

Good Luck, fingers crossed.

Well I went to view tonight and the car is brilliant and exactly what I'm after so I bought it! A credit to its former GTROC owners :)

Countdown to collection is on!
