I got a HKS twin plate clutch today but it has not got any instructions with it, should it have?
It has got a bearing in it which I am not sure what it is, it is like a release bearing but it has no lugs on it and it has 3 different washers to be put on it in a set way.
Does this have to be put on along with the stock relase bearing?

If anyone had the instructions they could send to me by e mail that would be great!?

The bearing you have needs to be pressed on to the carrier of the old bearing

Twin plate clutches have a different release bearing profile.

Does it need to be pressed on by a hydraulic press or can it be done in the vice?

I did mine in a vice.

This may seem a stupid question but if it can be pressed on in a vice then why does it not work its way loose when under operating conditions of the clutch such as extreme heat and continually pulling against the clutch fingers?

Ooops, mine is a push type clutch and I thought the HKS one would be too. Might be wrong.

No its a pull type i think and it does look like what you say that the supplied bearing presses into the stock release bearing.
