Just searched arround the forum but I couldn't find any major feedback about this ECU. I recently found this ECU available for our cars as well (never knew about this ECU in the past) and seems like $360 cheaper than my other alternative which is the Haltech Pro Plug In.

I'm guessing it has knock control (it has a port to plug ear headset to hear the knock while tunning which rocks, just like the Motec ECUs I think), e85 compatible etc etc.

As I understand it has "self tunning" by AFR target value like the Haltech I think. Not sure if compatible with the stock MAFs but I guess it does. 4 BAR MAP build in which is perfect.

Anyways, there are any members here running it? If so, any advise positive/negative commentsa bout ti? Tuning software is frienddly/good?

Looks like a Link g4 at a glance. Any reason for choosing only this or the Haltech?

I don't have really any solid argument to choose the Adaptronic over the Haltech Pro plug in as I didn't invstigate deeply the features of the Adaptronic but at first glance it seems to have some cool stuff among the head seat to listen knock (which I did adapt from our mechanic shop the tool to hear noises from the chasis in my ex BMW e30 turbo converted to tune in on the road and was great tool to have as knock sense), build in 4 BAR map sensor if I want go more boost later, seems to have great support at least over the forums, also it does cost less over the Haltech.

A friend of mine will tune the ECU I chose but he has more experiencie with Haltech (had some seminars in the states with that) but he told me he did tune once a car that had Adaptronic not sure what model.

Logic tell me to go with Haltech because of the tuner it's more familiar with it....

Haltech Pro plug IN R33

• Direct plug and play replacement of the OEM ECU, no re-wiring necessary.
• Uses the cars factory sensors
• Supports R32 GT-R twin MAF sensors

*Optional auxiliary harness required to be purchased Haltech Part # HT040003

• Closed Loop O2 Control
• Decel Cut Over Boost Rev Limiter
• Closed & Open Loop Boost Control
• Gear Setup
• ACF On Base Tables
• Transient Throttle Enhance

Correction Tables: Fuel Ignition Boost:
• Cranking
• Air Temp Target Correction
• Coolant Temperature Correction
• Map Correction
• Zero Throttle Gear Correction
• Cylinder Trim
• TPS Correction
• Generic Correction 1
• Generic Correction 2
• Gear Correction
• Post Start
• Air Temp Duty Correction
• Post Start

• Data Logging: 448Kb of onboard data logging,
Storage for approx 40 minutes at 10 logs per seconds, 6 channels of data
• Max 20 channels logging capability

Power Requirements:
Source: 8.6 to 16.5 Volts DC
Consumption: 530mA @ 12Volts DC

Now I also found that for the R33 GT-R or the Skylines there are two options of ECU an done is made for more than 500 HP (I gues sit has more resolution for the fuel injctors control and some other options)
