In Autocar magazine this week there is a supplement called Half Price Heroes.
In the section of £15,000-£20,000 a medium risk rating in the Nissan Skyline R34. 01/Y 35k miles, £19,000.

Why you'd want one :- This is the ultimate Japanese 4wd nut-mobile. It's very fast and easy to drive with it.

What to look for :- Stay with a UK car for its history and because it will have a differential oil cooler. Avoid mega-bhp conversions.

Where do they find a 34 for £19k ??? I've not seen any under £25k but will admit not to looking for a while and a UK one at that ??? Dream on ...

Agree with the "... This is the ultimate Japanese 4wd nut-mobile. "
They obviously continue the same sentiment with the phrase
"Avoid mega-bhp conversions." as he's obviously meaning if you driving anything else :p

A reasonable 2000 car will go for more than that at auction in Japan.

Phil
What I don't get is the supplement is called "Half Price Heroes" - they could have been realistic and said you'd get a UK one for £27k which IS half price ...
