Has anyone else experienced that?

Driving home yesterday it sounded like i had a tin full of old spanners in the boot, the noise went when i pulled up at the lights, I booked the car in immediately to get it sorted out as it sounded quite bad.

Then tonight been out for a drive and nothing, quiet a a mouse again

Yeah rear pads rattling in the calipers. Nissan won't do anything about it as they say it's to allow for expansion, ha. Sounds fine on a smooth surface but gritted roads are hell.

Nope, as said, smooth tarmac is fine, but on cheap gritted surfaces they'll sound like all the undertrays are loose and rattling. Touch the brake pedal and silence.
