Lol, good point....

Basically this. The knee is jerking so hard it's smashing the face to pieces.

If we are going to ban air shows, we also need to ban cars, commercial flights (huge spate of recent Malaysian airlines crashes, hence all flight must be too dangerous), carrier bags (suffocation risk, and many people have managed it, so the tesco carrier bag is clearly lethal and needs to be banned), stairs (old ladies can fall down them and kill themselves)... etc.
PMSL:chuckle:

If you cant see the difference from some ego inflated pilot doing a loop the ****ing loop over a main road, from driving a fast car legally on a UK road then I really don't know what to say.

We live in a world where we take risks everyday and of course accidents will happen but we also abide by laws which stop us from being reckless, and endangering others.

From then Carfest South website:

Following recent tragic events, the organisers of CarFest have decided that there will be no air display programme at CarFest South this weekend (28th-30th August 2015).

This decision has been taken both as a mark of respect and in consideration of the airshow review announced this morning by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). We send our heartfelt condolences to all of those affected by the terrible incident on Saturday.

We hope to hold future air events at future festivals and would like to offer our support and good wishes to the air display community.

A flypast by the Gnat Display team honouring Kevin Whyman who lost his life during a display at CarFest North is still planned to go ahead on Saturday afternoon and will be accompanied by a minute's silence in honour of Kevin and the victims of the Shoreham Air Show.

There's no ego inflation with this guy - he's was an elite RAF pilot who has now settled into what by comparison is enthusiast flying. Don't confuse him with Tom Cruise.

When you are up in the air, you aren't "over a road", you're over everything, all at once, mainly fields.

Heard yesterday the Red arrows refused to fly at Shoreham as they were unhappy with the safety run offs around the display area.

I don't think air shows should be banned but some stricter rules enforced.

They are a absolute hazard to all around
Well, in reality they just have the potential to be a hazard as, For the most part, they aren't. If they were that hazardous then there would be constant calls for them to be stopped, even before the tragic events of the past weekend. The victims families have a right to feel aggrieved but I'm not so sure that anyone else has a right to make a judgement on it.
