Getting really pi$$ed off with my car as every time I leave it for more than a few days the battery ends up without charge
I have recently bought a new battery without any improvement. DaveW suggested that I try a solar trickle charger which I have bought but I just wondered if anyone else has tried this and with what results?
Also, as the solar charger plugs in to the cigarette lighter can anyone tell me if the power to the lighter socket is killed when the ignition is turned off? If that is the case then I will need to wire the solar charger direct to the battery terminals right?
Thanks in advance.
