I have a BCM malfunction error code on my AP. I had LED DRL, Escort 9500CI, Front & Rear cam installed. The store left my key fob receiver unplugged in the dash. And now my parking lights and side marker lights do not turn on. Does anyone know what I can do?

I would suspect the wiring for the DRLs hasnt been done correctly in some way.

If I was in your shoes, I'd get the DRLs unplugged, reset the error codes, then recheck all the wiring and connections of the DRL.

so you think its the DRL? as I unplugged the DRLs and the lights still did not come on. So I plugged it in. But the DRL's go into a factory harness in the driver footwell. So would it still be the DRLs?

The bumper as to come off to fit the DRLs, I wonder if they didnt re-connect the headlamp wiring correctly, or the DRL kit is faulty?

I am only guessing, and logically, the only thing you've had fitted which could affect the lights and the BCM is the DRL kit.

If it was me, and I didnt have an HPC nearby, I'd ask the shop which fitted it all to carefully re-check all their connections whilst resetting the error code with the AP.

Yea. There is no power going to the lights as well. But if something is disconnected wouldn't the car throw a code at me? Cause it seems to me that the GTR is so electronically integrated that if one thing is left unconnected it goes crazy. haha. There are HPC near me but none of them seem knowledgeable enough for me to take it to. They didn't even know what the BCM was when I called. Which is present in ALL nissan cars. The store that screwed up the lights is refusing to claim that they were in the wrong. They said it was something that I did that caused it. If I brought it back they would charge me per hour fees and god knows what else they would do. If any of you are in Boston, don't take your car to Audio Video Integration (A.V.I) in Newton. They are horrible when it comes to mess ups. You can PM me if you would like to know what happened.

That's probably why you have a BCM error code. Might be worth PM'ing Ben of GTC as he'll deffo know what the code is.

You have an error code dont you?

I'd disconnect the DRL where it fits into the footwell, then reset the error codes using the AP and see if that clears it. If it does you know its the DRL kit.
