I would comment about polishes and sealants but it would take forever to type.

Feel free to give me a call and I will give you any info you need.

Drop me a pm with why you had problems.... I'm suspecting over application. It's easy to get on with when used correctly but sure we can get you sorted easily :).

Cheers.

As Alex has said the usual problems are caused by over application.

I have used all Alex's range and had no problems with applying or taking off.

You could try Klasse AIO; simple enough to use..

Alex' Super Sealant is an absolute doddle to use and gives good results..

You could have a look at the Werkstat range or even Zaino AIO..

With car care products, key really is to use the actual product sparingly..

so any one product that you guys can recommend to give the best shine?
The end result comes from the prep work put into it mate.

I would give the car a good wash and then a claybar treatment to lift any bonded contaminents then apply a polish/sealant or wax for maximum shine/protection.

There are many products available but will look similar to each other but may vary in terms of durability.

If its just a spray shine your after then I recommend FK425 from Alex @ Serious Performance.

It offers no protection but my god its a great quick detailer.

2 x ProShine Spray and Shine For a Showroom Shine on eBay (end time 09-Mar-10 20:58:16 GMT)

was recommended this product by someone, anyone know or heard of this??
Personally, thought of not pre washing (snow foam) and rinsing before washing with a m/f mit using 2 buckets to rinse the dirt/grit/road salts out of it makes me cringe.

Just using a spray directly onto the dirt, then pushing that dirt around with the same m/f cloth that didnt seem to get rinsed or changed made me feel sick.

Agree with Magic, a QD spray would probably be better, but it does need washing first. That spray on wipe of product, i would try it on my doors jams only (obv a small test area 1st). ;)

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS wash the car properly first if its been out before any QD.
QD is designed to be used on nothing more than light dust and finger prints.
