hi guys am curious bout what BHP my car could be running before i upgrade turbo ECU and AFM ready for mapping

boost set at 0.8

. K&N super high flow induction
. Greddy front mounted intercooler
. Purple 550cc injectors
. Nismo paddle race clutch
. De-cat
. Ngk iridium spark plugs
. Bailey's twin piston dump valve ( very nice chatters and tweets)
. Kakimoto de-cat back exhaust system
. Forged wiseco pistons & rings
. Bathurst racing big end bearings
. Metal gaskets
. Re-bored, skimmed and polished

soon to be added:-

splitfire coilpacks
tomei fuel pump
trust downpipe

then onto uprated turbo, ECU and AFM.

any help would be highly appreciated, thanks guys

im seeing decat , back section and filters as your only real performance enhancers here. Running 0.8 bar you may be getting around 350ish bhp.
with aftermarket downpipes, a mines ecu and 0.9-bar of boost i saw 380bhp on a dyno on my 33 GTR.

U miss out the most important point, what you car actualloy is!!

an RB20 from the pic...it'll be quick but it won't be 350bhp!

hard to tell what HP it would be putting out with just a list of mods. But you wont start to develop big gains until you start replacing turbos, injectors ECU's etc only then will you get good gains. But unless your car have been chipped i would think that the 550 injectors would be playing havoc with your fuel air ratio's. ( very rich )

Basic rule of thumb is you will only get out what is put in, and currently you have the standard turbo and ECU ( from you first post ) which can only push so much air into your engine, until you have the uprated turbo( i think were talking about an RB 25 ) and can run more boost then the bolt on parts dont really have much effect. But when you do put the bigger turbo and ECU on then you will get some more benifit out of those parts.

Then get it tuned so all the part work together and you will see some HP gains

why don't you invest in some brakes!!

might be able to stop it then when you go out on track with all the extra grunt and wonder why it aint stopping.

suspension and brakes make a car alot quicker!!

Is'nt that rather large injectors to not be running either a modified or aftermarket ECU anyway? On a GT-R's RB26 with 550's you would most certainly looking at having larger turbo's, PFC or similar (as a minimum) fitted and at 0.8bar possibly running 400-450hp.

Sounds like your modifications would support quite a high HP figure anyway, just seems strange that you dont already have an aftermarket turbo and ECU................odd.

Maybe some of the RB25 gurus will keep you right.
