RBM fitted my apexi PowerFC, a Trust turbo downpipe, Tomei fuel reg, Splitfire coilpacks, NGK plugs and did a full remap for me - the car was also set to 0.8bar of boost and I have to say its bloody mental now hahahaha!
The full rev range is there, it climbs up to 0.7bar very very quickly then shifts onto 0.8 shortly after and the power is soooo smooth - 5500rpm upward is absolutely bellowingly awesome
the only thing I can compare it to is a motorbike for acceleration!!
Rod was a really nice bloke, very calm and relaxed about all the work, and did a great job on the map keeping on the safe side of it all (he said he could get more from it but reckoned its best to stay safe which is fine for me as I dont have pennies for rebuild!). They kept me informed on all the work being done to the car during the two days it was there which was really great as I'm nosey and like to know whats going on!!
I know some of you guys will have higher boost on your gtr's and wotnot but bear in mind this is my first turbo'd car (prior to that was 1.6escort) and I couldn't be happier with it. If you've got a gtst and are thinking about it - get Rod to sort it out for you - you'll not be dissapointed! Seeing as 4500rpm upward was a pretty much no go for me previously having the full rev range is something that i'm still REALLY enjoying hehehehe!
I also want to say another BIG thanks to SiHethers on this site who personally met me in the toon, followed me back to mine in Whitley and helped sort out a few slight idling issues (kept stalling at the lights etc...) on the map - since then the car hasn't faltered on cold or warm idle once!
thankyou thankyou thankyou
