You've also left out venomous snakes and poisonous spiders left inside the vehicle plus a yearly subscription to the Local Gangsters/Mob protection racket as added Security Chronos.... :squintdan

You don't need the Autowatch Ghost, Autowatch 68HI at approx £60 works fine. If it is wired to the fuel pump the car will stop approx 1 mile from where its stolen or hijacked, much safer than having the criminals come into your house and forcing you to tell them the Ghost code because they can't start the car.

The reasoning behind that is the number of cars that get damaged paintwork claims due to drivers scraping the garage wall outweighs theft claims from vehicles left on the drive.

who wants it back? I wouldn't want my car back after some scrote had smashed their way in to her, kicked her head in and what not!!!!
I'd want them to burn her out and I'll start again thanks !
Hell YES i'd want it back!!

- if they got 2 miles down the road and abandon it
- if they find it in a warehouse abandoned
- if they got to europe, and the police find it undamaged
- if they got anywhere and it was slightly damaged, curbing wheels and scraped bumper, but I got the car back

Hell yes I'd want it back! I've spent a lot of time/sweat and £ on this ****er, engine forged and tuned, and more importantly memories with this car. I'd want it back.

Plus - by getting it back

- it saves on the hassle of insurance claim, and the time and stress it takes
- driving round in a ford fiesta 1.1 for 3 months whilst insurance goes thru
- the time it takes to get the ££ off the insurance
- finding a new replacement hassle
- modding the new replacement to your spec = lots of more ££ and time/hassle

I'd rather "Yes Sir, We have found your car, it's got some bumper and some alloy scuffing, but otherwise ok. We can deliver it back to you in 24 hours"

Plus the fact the same people know where your car is and how to get into it so they may return for it.

I really don't know if I would want it back either?

Wouldn't give a shit, I have nursed my car forever, spent more money on servicing than petrol to keep her tip top, had all the mods done by ACspeedtech, nice wheels, suspension etc...... but be that as it may, I still wouldn't want it back and would start from scratch. I have many photos for the memories!

It's like someone banging your missus....... I'd not want that ****er back either

Sorry Sir, I don't agree. It's all personal feeling I suppose, and for me it would be a WIN getting the car back, in one piece IF none or only minor damage had been done. Say the car's stolen and only done 5 miles, then get's recovered by the police and you get it back the next day, i mean jeez my bro had a longer test drive than that!! haha

jps is already on it :D

So in theory you could have on your R35 -

1- tracker
2 - autowatch ghost
3- disklok
4 - 2nd self shutdown enabled tracker
5 - faraday bag for keys to stop possible keyfob code stealing
6 - CCTV as a deterrent, or to record as evidence attempts.
7 - Big dog!

so all in all, it's getting rather silly! lol Or is it just being sensible, to secure as BEST you can your pride and joy?
So depending where car is parked I have
1)
2) next on list from Mr Takamo
4)
6)
7)

I would like to fit a perimeter alarm that sounds or speaks when someone gets near the car, had a clifford years ago and it worked a treat, stops people sitting on it for pics etc, anyone know of one?

I have a couple of discount codes in case anyone is interested in buying a Discklok, or infact any product from the suppliers.

PM me.

Nothing in it for me - so if you don't want a Disklok - all cool here. :smokin:

So this way of stealing cars is only a problem with keyless entry? If they grab the signal from a normal key unlocking a car they still need the key in the lock?
