Phil,

A large number of cars get taken in for service on flat beds as part of the Concierge service.

Nissan prefer the transport to be enclosed trailer for this very reason, it is not always possible though.

Poor Joe public must think these things break down all the time.....

I wasn't aware of that. I only live 2 minutes from the garage so I just drove up for mine.

I live in Stirling but my car goes to Middlehurst in St Helens to be looked after, driver takes it down in trailer 1 day stays overnight and brings it back the next day, great service and totally "free" to me the end user.

I've seen the front of one being used as a "Car BQ" at Silverstone......

Brilliant especially with Porsche just the other side of the bridge.
