Seen a few threads on the Blizzaks with ok reviews but nothing on the Dunlop 3d any one used the Dunlop is it any good? or stick to Blizzaks

Also anyone no stockists in Uk for either?

I looked at the Blizzaks on mytyres website, one look was enough! No way I would fit that to my car! I drove last winter on standard Dunlop RF's and didn't have any problems with traction, car was actually very good in the snow.

Trev what didn't you like the look of? I'm sure the standards would be ok but surely winters would be even better also probably cheaper in the long run as only use expensive dulop summer tyres for half the year.

I just think they look like tractor tyres lol, but if you live in Scotland they may be necessary I guess. Down here there's still usable driving conditions sometimes between Nov/March and I wouldn't be able to have any fun with those things on the car I don't think, plus they're speed limited to 150.

Tbh for the cost of a set of tyres ya may aswell buy a cheep 4×4. I just bought a merc ml for 1500 quid lol
