I was at the ring yesterday; on my second lap I noticed blue smoke clouds blowing out of the back of my GT-R. :(

There is no apparent loss of power but it blows out a cloud each time I let of the throttle and continues to smoke at low revs i.e. at town traffic speeds. At normal (100-120Kph) autobahn speeds there was little or no smoke. It used a quart (1lt) of oil in about 100 miles.

The popular diagnosis from other ringers was that one of the turbo oil seals has blown.

Any other ideas before I have to take it to the experts?

Dirk, the GT-R servicing industry would look totally different without us having the occasional "challenge".;) Thanks to us they've got a good living !

Skylining, sorry I couln't make it yesterday. Keep a good eye on the oil level and the amount of smoke. If someone behind you needs a radar to see his way, you'd better have them serviced;)
