Hi all,

I'm installing 600 cc/min injectors, a higher flow-rate fuel pump before a tune with Power FC. While doing some reading up on the fuel systems I came across the following from Tomei's website:

"BNR34 fluctuates the amount of electric current to a fuel pump by fuel pump modulator in order to reduce noise and power consumption. However, if engine tuning is advanced, it becomes hard to deliver the proper amount of electricity and stable fuel pressure can no longer maintained. TOMEI fuel pump relay harness is made to obtain stabilized fuel pressure by taking voltage directly from a battery, and makes it possible to pull out the 100% of performance of BNR34."

Does anyone have experience with/without swapping to such a harnass?

Thanks!

yeah, lots of guys n gals on here (including me!) have bypassed the Fuel Pump Controller (FPC) - do a search. I even posted a diagram somewhere - you can wire it up yourself for less than $20 with bits from your local car parts store! It's merely a relay, a fuse and some wire :)
