Looking to do my own DIY disc & pad change & found this;
Nissan GT-R (R35) Technical DIY Blog: Conducting the Symphony of Sounds from GT-R

My couple of questions are;
1, My torque wrench has about a 18'' handle. Will this fit in the wheel arch?
2, I thought copper grease was the norm for 'anti-squeal' lubrication. But this guide says to use 'Permatex 24125 Ceramic Extreme Brake Parts Lubricant'??

Any other handy tips would be greatly appreciated:thumbsup:

Cheers
Iggy

Hi..

Cracking write up that :thumbsup:

Yeah went ok!
They were a bit more hassle than the Brembo discs & pads I changed on my RB!

AP J-Hooks & Pagid RS29s fitted

The bedding in for these is a little more sedate than my PF discs & PF Z pads I fitted to the RB!
x40 light brake pressure 55mph to 30mph in groups of 5 applications with 1/2 mile between.
Next (tomorrow) 100 miles with increased brake pressure up to 70mph, but not coming to a stop. Then I can use full force braking, which should put a light blue temper on the disc near the bell.

She'll be going away (SORN) for the winter soon, so next spring i'll be getting the same fitment for the rear discs & pads.
