Brembo and Brake Master Cylinder Query

I fitted a Stagea RS260 Autech master cylinder (smaller rear brake restrictor that a R33/34 GTR one) and the pedal was shorter and more solid.

Strange, the F40 has the exact same piston sizes as the std GTR Brembo caliper so you cant blame the mechanical change in caliper for the difference in pedal feel. The F40 is a better quality caliper, being more rigid and has the same size pistons as the Nissan Brembo so?!?!??!?!?!
