Just been to the petrol station and all of a sudden I can here a hissing noise, so opened the bonnet to see a nice stream of hot water coming out of this hose:

So my questions are:

What is it?
What does it do?
And Where can I get a new one?

Cheers guys

not 100% sure, but it feeds water from the intake plenum jackets to the turbos IIRC. either way, just get some standard rubber hose from your local Halfords etc and bung it in while your local Nissan dealer order you the proper, moulded hose.

*EDIT* ok, now I'm 100% sure - as per this pic:

hope this all helps.

Ahh right, cheers for the info mate I'll be going down to Nissan to be bent over I no doubt in the morning now to get a replacement.

Hoping its a relatively generic piece of hosing and not something that will take 6yrs to arrive.......

Check with some traders on here; they may be able to get it too (Abbey perhaps).

Just put some decent hose on there meant for pressures upto about 5bar and temps upto 150°C and you'll be fine. That's what I did, and I got them from Pirtek (now AB-flex)
