sorry, new to all this.

what does grade of car mean?

i've tried searching through, but still dont really understand exactly what it means.
is there anyway of finding it our from the chassis number?
the car is currently in Canada, auctioning this weekend.
it was illegaly imported into the country as it is too young, the guy got cought smuggling it in, and the car was seized at customs.
incedentally it now has to be auctioned of asap to export it.

If you look through import sites they will tell you the grade of car you are buying the best grade is GRADE 5 and the worst is GRADE 1 you cant really get a true grade 5 R33 due to its age only newer cars come with grade 5 if they are in mint condition BUT dont allways go by the grade for example a highly modified example automaticly gets a grade 1 simply for that reason.
Also sometimes the grade could be a lot of kak i have seen grade 4 cars that shoud be grade 2 !...
You really need to be carefull look at as many as you can then you will know what you are getting for the money .
You only get what you pay for.
The car you are looking at should be worth around £13000 if in good condition but photos can hide alot.

If you are getting the car for around £9000 landed in the uk then it may be worth the risk.
Hope this helps a little and good luck

well asuming that import and shipping cost will not exceed £2000 then i can get the car landed in the uk for £7000,
the car has been previously auctioned, but the buyer didn't realise the cost of importing aswell.
the car will be auctioned this weekend and is expected to go for under 10000 canadian dollars because of the situation its in, which is less than £5000
