Hi,

Ok I need to get rid of the wheelspin/slippy when wet Bridgestones, after researching and getting peoples advice, thanks... I've decided on - MPSS 275/35 front and 305/30 rear, do I need Nitrogen filled?? or is air filled ok. ?

plus wheres best to buy and get fitted, also will the TPMS still work with the mpss fitted or do I need a specialist to fit them? I'm in the North west...

lots of questions, but i want to make sure its right, and fitted correctly.

You can get them from Camskill or a few other online tyre suppliers for around £1000 (delivered but not fitted)

You can reuse your existing tpms sensors, they won't need recoding etc, sensors are part of the valve, hence to avoid any potential air leak, it's advisable to use a tpms service kit. Also try not to switch the engine whilst the tyre/valve is off the car (you may get a tyre sensor warning, which then needs to be cleared via proecu-ecutek/consult3).

Any reputable place can fit the tyres, although it's better to find one that uses a machine which can fit the tyre without any metal touching the alloy..some of hunter machines can do this (litchfields/kaizer have this).

Also Costco sell michelins tyres, and also fill with nitrogen by default.

I've not had tyres on my car swapped yet, I'll probably go to Middlehurst though when I do as they're not too far from me. One of the NW traders will probably know, ACSpeedtech or RBMotorsport will probably know decent places.

I've used a local place before on my 350z but they scuffed the wheel, which they pointed out to me and said they would pay for, but it was still the hassle of having to get the wheel refurbished!

ATS Euromaster can fit them as well as they supply MPSS, but I've never used them so can't comment on their machinery.

I'm starting my hunt for new tyres and somewhere to fit them too, have you had any luck with good deals? I'm in Cumbria and don't really know where to go to get them fitted... where are you based in the NW?

In the end Ive gone with http://www.protyre.co.uk , best price fitted, only a few quid more than just the tyres from camskill! chuffed opcorn:
