Hello,
my name is Daniel Kowalski and on 14th may this year I've buyed my BNR32 from forum member "sp1" for my project.
The vehicle is built for the Dutch and Belgian Time Attack Series in coorporation with retroracing which also produce my carbon aerodynamic parts.
I wanted to ask whether any interest in oem front / rear bumper, and fenders made of carbon fibre is.

You have the choice between:

carbon fibre,
kevlar,
glas fiber / gfk

We start this week with our demo car and hopefully can present in about 2weeks the first results.
This is just a general question if anyone is interested.

Best regards
Daniel Kowalski / Retro Racing

If its a commercial venture then u will need to be a paid up trader to advertise on here, although I'm sure there will be an interest

thanks mike, this is just a general inquiry whether interest is.
If someone is really interested, we will update us here as traders.
That is why we don't have specified prices.
We're from germany, and our home page is: retroracing.de

Regards
Kowalski

@ Australian GTR
We start on Thursday to mold the parts.
We have to look how expensive the parts are to manufacture and how much material they consume.
The quality will be good, as retro racing have gained much experience and build many vehicles in the field of german "Bergrennen".
Also they build parts for cars which start in the VLN 24h on Nürburgring Nordschleife.

Here is a short clip of their dyno with a BMW e36 328 GTR wide body from a good friend. Not the best video quality, but you can see the work done to this car:
youtube.com/watch?v=07urzrjhlaw]BMW E36 GTR Umbau Leistungsmessung bei Retroracing Menden

And this is the link where you can see a few clips of dyno tuning by us:

@ fourtoes:
We start with the front bumper, rear bumper and the fenders,
after that, and depending on how many potential interests are there,
we will make further components.

Thanks alot.
Best regards
Kowalski / retro racing

Thank's a lot for your feedback! :)

@fourtoes:
Thanks fourtoes,
after the bumpers and the fender we also want to make some doors, hoods, trunk lids,
splitters, GT wings and so on. . .but one by one ;)

@willrobdon:
Maybe you have already some ideas for rear deffusers?
We want to build something like the Top Secret diffuser and modify it for us,
but if you have something different in mind, let me know! ;)

@nismoboy:
Thank you Nismoboy, we will keep you all up to date!!

Maybe I can find the other pictures of the carbon bumpers and flares (manufacturing)
of the MB190e EVO II that we build for the VLN 24th Nürburgring, where it currently runs.

If there are questions or ideas, please let us know.
Your opinion is very important for us!!

@ freakazoid3:

Hi mate!
No you don't missed something! :D
We want to attack spa francorchamps, for ourselves! ;-)

The car is officially build for Time Attack NL, and some other small trackdays like (Germany) Nürburgring Nordschleife, Oschersleben, (Swiss) Anneau du Rhin Time Attack etc.

And Spa is just for fun ;-)

Unfortunately, there is still no news, we are still waiting for the material.
But we'll keep you informed!!

Cheers

@acornuts:
Thank's for your feedback buddy,
yes it is a good idea!
But first, we manufacture the OEM parts,
cause we need them for our project and after that
we will try to get other parts like the Do Luck kit.
(maybe just on loan for duplicating)
Perhaps you're interested in a JUN style grill in carbon fibre / kevlar?

@freakazoid3:
Yes sure we can meet up!
We still wait for material (we've ordered "maybe too much" material. . . :D)
Planned for the beginning is: front and rear bumper, so we can look how expansive the parts are, after that we want to make carbon fenders, and maybe I get a pair of "TBO Style", or "Eastbear Style" side skirts which we also want to manufacture from carbon fibre.
And for the future the rest like: doors, grills, trunks, hoods etc.

Thank's a lot guys, that feedback is exactly what we want!
Have a nice weekend!

Best regards
Kowalski
