I've oddly resisted major modifications and a build thread when it is something I have done to the max on many other cars.

GTR is my daily, so wanted to do things bit-by-bit and avoid going "crazy".

Car is an MY11 DMG car bought from Adamantium with 3.2k miles, now sporting 10.5k miles. She's just turned 3 years old.

I bought the car with Litchfield stage 1 from the off so I have never driven a stock car.

I thought that power level was impressive, but a tad coarse and stifled. I've gone throw several iterations of things, and am just waiting for the latest and probably final spec:-

Interior:
JM Carbon centre console
JM Carbon door handle surrounds
Re-trimmed rear quarters and rear seats to match fronts
Dynamatted rear seat area
CG Lock
US Homelink Mirror
Alcantara retrimmed steering wheel

Wheels, tyres, suspension:
Litchfield suspension
Litchfield front arms/toe links
Grey TSW Nurburgring alloys with Toyo R888 tyres
Satin Black TSW Nurburgring alloys with Dunlop 3D RFT winter tyres (yeuch)

Brakes:
Alcon CCX Carbon Ceramics

Exhaust:
Akrapovic full system with carbon tips
Litchfield down pipes

Engine:
Ecutek V4
Litchfield stage 4 filters, injectors and map
Forge blow-off valves

Gearbox:
Stock!

Exterior:
Stock!

Other:
Front and rear reverse cameras operated by homelink mirror

Thinks I am thinking of next:-

1) JCR Carbon paddles
2) Carbon steering wheel trim
3) Front grille / Rear wing / front splitter / rear skirt / side skirts. Looking for a set that is in the matte carbon to match the nissan carbon parts. Rear wing and splitter must actually work (looking at the JCR/Revozport ones)
4) More efficient intercooler.

Is the car going to continue as your daily driver?

Quite a big list of expensive parts!!! Is not worth trying some inbetween steps, like uprated discs and pads? And suspension tweaks? Rather than going whole hog?

I like the idea of knowing what has changed and being able to feel the difference it has made. Also went too far with previous cars, so dont want to make that mistake again.

If you have thought about all this and still want to do that list, then GO FOR IT and I look forward to the updates :D

It stats "and am just waiting for the latest and probably final spec", so I read that as the list of things to done

For clarity, I've marked the new items as new!

Interior:
JM Carbon centre console
(new) JM Carbon door handle surrounds
(new) Re-trimmed rear quarters and rear seats to match fronts
(new) Dynamatted rear seat area
CG Lock
US Homelink Mirror
(new) Alcantara retrimmed steering wheel

Wheels, tyres, suspension:
Litchfield suspension
(new) Litchfield front arms/toe links
Grey TSW Nurburgring alloys with Toyo R888 tyres
Satin Black TSW Nurburgring alloys with Dunlop 3D RFT winter tyres (yeuch)

Brakes:
(new)Alcon CCX Carbon Ceramics

Exhaust:
(new)Akrapovic full system with carbon tips
(new)Litchfield down pipes

Engine:
Ecutek V4
Litchfield stage 4 filters, injectors and map
(new)Forge blow-off valves

Gearbox:
Stock!

Exterior:
Stock!

Other:
Front and rear reverse cameras operated by homelink mirror[/QUOTE]

So basically I've added the new suspension arms, CCX brakes, an Akrapovic and down pipes with latest map and some bovs! Akra was used, rest is new.

Will continue to be daily driver - power is hardly different (10 or 15bhp more)
