is that normal to get clonking from the diff at slow speed on 1/4 steering wheel turn?

happens when i am pulling of the drive or parking some where. the thing is i dont remember having this before the 1200mile service?

the car has had a hard 150miles since though running more power and doing few runs at crail etc.

In a word, yes, but only when car/fluids are cold. I notice this with mine when reversing off drive on a morning - grinds away on only a bit of lock. If it's doing it when warm, I think that's a different story.

I believe it's a combination of having a limited slip diff with cold transmission fluids.

Very clunky cold starts - can't wait for the really cold weather to start for my morning reverse out onto a busy main road!
