Is it normal for all R35s starting from cold to shoot to @2500rpm then drop back down to a normal idle - just changed my cobb from a Nis-5 to a 6 and loaded the same map and did not think it went that high before - maybe it learns cold start revs ?

Ok thats good to know then - surely this aint good if the cars been sitting for awhile or you have just done an oil change - 2500rpm untill the oil gets around :runaway:

Its the TCM with LC5 that causes it on early cars.
I pointed it out to Cobb and they weren't concerned. Why would they be?
Fixing it takes effort, and who cares if our cars rattle a bit.

Yup i contacted cobb about it - they made out they didnt know about it - not very helpful at all - i found if you turn the car on but dont start it for 15seconds its not as bad revs to about 2100 rpm cold - have you tried lc4 ?
