Have had a change of heart about finishing of my R32 GTR racecar.

I am planning to fit a flat floor and need some composite panels.

Anyone got contacts for some light and stiff panels that would make a good job.

Here is a mockup of the front end, it sits quite low!

Fees old bumper

Sorry to hijack your thread Hugh....

I'm looking for similar panels for the underside, wandering if anyone can make pieces that join together underneathe?

Also this type of front bumper, where is the best place to source one from?

Thanks guys.

Have spoken with Richard at RJT, he was able to help with a splitter, but does not have a source for flat panels for the floor, hence this request for help.

Lots of uses for composite panels now in road signs, building cladding etc.

Not sure if the Carbon Mods panels are too thin at 4mm.

Need to have as many options as possible to choose from.

Keep em coming.

Thanks

Hugh

Dibond is quite flexible....

Alucore 10mm is good and what we use for splitter (on impreza)

I'm thinking of just making basla composite panels for Fee's floor. 800m floor sections... 8mm balsa matrix, glass/carbon/kevlar or even 'green' flax fibre. Wet lay/compression sandwich type panels.

Thanks Adam,

Seems like getting access to a nice flat surface to make your own panels should be doable.

Am really interested to see how you get on.

Cheers
